Basketball Set to Host Top Ranked PVI
Gonzaga Basketball has had a very strong start to the season. The team has been ranked as high as number 5 in the nation by MaxPreps. The Eagles went undefeated in Atlanta, dominated the Jumpman Holiday Classic, and won the 33rd annual DC Classic.
Coach Turner's squad is now 18-2 overall and 5-1 in the WCAC, as they have gone 2-2 in recent play. In the most recent game on Wednesday, January 25, Gonzaga fell to Good Counsel 58-74 on the road.
On Friday, January 27, the team is set to host WCAC foe and current MaxPrep #1 team in the nation, Paul VI. This will be Gonzaga and PVI's only meeting of the regular season.
