Basketball Earns Three WCAC Wins

On Sunday, January 8, Basketball got back to WCAC play at Archbishop Carroll and came away with a 66-48 win. On Tuesday, January 10, the Eagles hosted Bishop McNamara for its first home WCAC game of the year and notched 75-40 victory over the Mustangs.

“It’s amazing when this team is clicking,” senior forward Thomas Batties '23 told the The Washington Post. “Our fast-play style and these guys’ ability to make big plays on both ends of the court — it’s just fun to be out there with them."  

On Thursday, January 12, Gonzaga traveled to St. Mary's Ryken and left victorious 69-52.

Eye Street Hoops is 16-0 on the year and 4-0 in WCAC play. Next up, Gonzaga will face Woodside in the DTLR MLK Classic held at the Xfinity Center at the University of Maryland at 6:15pm on Monday, January 16. You can find the entire schedule here.
