Big Week for Tennis
Tennis returned from spring break with a busy week. On Tuesday, April 19th, the Eagles defeated Georgetown Prep 6-1 with Lee White '24, Jack Sherner '24, Carson Foley '22, Brendan Henneberry '24, and doubles Lucas Irwin '24 and Jack Donaldson '24 all winning in straight sets. Doubles Patrick Barry '22 and Daniel Jordanoff '24 earned a thrilling win in their match with sets by the score of 6-3, 4-6, and 11-9.
The following two days Wednesday, April 20th, and Thursday, April 21st Gonzaga defeated Bishop McNamara 9-0 and Flint Hill 8-1.
Tennis is now 11-1 on the year and 7-0 in WCAC play.
