College Counseling Hosts Case Study and College Fair

On Thursday, February 24, nearly 400 juniors and their parents from both Gonzaga and Georgetown Visitation came to Eye Street for a college admissions case study and college fair.

During the event, students and their parents had the chance to be part of a mock admissions committee with a college representative -- an experience that was intended to shed light on the subjective nature of college admissions. During the small groups, students and their parents were presented with four fictional college applicants and asked to decide which to accept, waitlist, and deny.

After the mock admissions committee, attendees were invited to the Carmody Center for a college fair featuring representatives from 40 colleges and universities.

Here are some great photos from the evening. Thank you to everyone who joined us!
