Model UN Performs Well at NAIMUN

This past weekend Gonzaga's Model UN club attended the North American Invitational Model UN tournament (NAIMUN), hosted by Georgetown University.

A big congratulations to Tyler Kaczmarek '22 who earned a gavel, the first place award in his committee! The other awards earned over the weekend included: Matthew Dowd '22 and John Ferrara '22 (Outstanding Delegates), Charlie Meyer '22 and Joe Campione '24 (Honorable Delegates), and James K. Miller '22 (Verbal Commendation).

"Any award earned at NAIMUN would be equivalent to a gavel at any other tournament," says Ms. Emily Kokol Rivera, Social Studies Teacher and co-moderator of the club. "Our students performed exceedingly well...please congratulate them on their hard work!"

The other students who competed this weekend were: Guyer Kopplin '22, Alex Wojciak '22, Stephen Connors '22, JP Felmlee '22, and Teddy Friesz '24.

Congratulations to all!
