Wrestling Finishes Second in WCAC Championship

On Saturday, February 5, Gonzaga Wrestling finished in second place overall in the WCAC Championship, with senior captain Kadari Machen ‘22 winning the 220 LB Championship -- his second WCAC title as a Gonzaga Wrestler. 

In addition, Matthew Van Sice ‘25 (145lbs), Ajani Bond ‘23 (195lbs), and Xavier Allen ‘23 (285lbs) all took home silver medals, while Braeden Meeker ‘25 (106 lbs), John McDonough ‘23 (120lbs), James Shoji ‘23 (132lbs), and Jeffery Off ‘22 (170lbs) took home third place medals.

Next up the Eagles will face Episcopal and Bishop Ireton today, February 11th at 4:30pm.
