After having their last two scheduled meets canceled due to COVID concerns, first year head coach Conrad Singh '00 and the Eagles were looking forward to finally competing in 2022. With winter weather in the forecast, it looked like the Eagles would once again have to wait to run, throw, and jump against other schools once again. However, midway through the day, with clear roads and no snow, Gonzaga gave Singh and the team the green light to compete at the meet.

"It was great to be able to finally compete," says Coach Singh. "Although we were unable to get every Eagle there, all of the families did an amazing job pivoting in the middle of the day to get as many guys to the competition as possible."

Next up for the Eagles is a trip to Staten Island, New York to compete in the Ocean Breeze Invitational on Saturday, January 29.
