Forever Gonzaga Bicentennial Campaign Launches

On Wednesday, September 8 -- the 200th birthday of Gonzaga -- we officially kicked off the public phase of the Forever Gonzaga Bicentennial Campaign. A celebration of Gonzaga’s legacy and a commitment to continued excellence on Eye Street, the Forever Gonzaga Campaign is the most important and ambitious fundraising initiative in our school’s history.

On the evening of September 8, the campaign's chairs--Monica and John Thompson III '84 (P '19) and Michael Tierney '70--joined Gonzaga President Fr. Joseph E. Lingan, SJ '75 and David Dugan '98, Gonzaga's Vice President of Alumni and Advancement, for a video presentation that was aired on Facebook Live. The group shared some information about the campaign's progress and goals as an introduction to the official campaign video. You can watch the full presentation below:

As part of the campaign launch, Gonzaga also unveiled our new Bicentennial website, which includes information about the campaign’s five fundraising initiatives, renderings of planned spaces, updates on campaign progress, and information on upcoming events. We hope you will take some time to browse through the site here, and check back regularly for updates and new information.

As Father Lingan said in the video, "Thank you for being a part of the Gonzaga community, for believing in our mission and supporting our bright young men. We are 200 and going strong. May Gonzaga Echo Ever Proudly, Forever."
