Water Polo Opens Season, Gets Win Over Calvert Hall

Varsity Water Polo held their legendary week of preseason training on Eye Street ahead of school starting last week. The Aqua Eagles are being led by Gonzaga Athletic Hall of Fame Inductee and Social Studies Teacher Joe Viola '82 this season. The team opened up their schedule last weekend with a loss to the Naval Academy Aquatics Club but bounced back a few hours later to defeat Calvert Hall 14-6.

Next up for the team is the Calvert Hall Round Robin on Saturday, September 4. The team will take on Spalding at 10:15 AM and Gilman at 2:00 PM.
