News of Alumni: John F. Butler '97

Congratulations to John F. Butler '97 who was recently made a military judge for the U.S. Navy. He's pictured here at the swearing-in ceremony on July 2, 2021 with Captain Jon Stephens, the Chief Trial Judge of the U.S. Navy. The ceremony took place in Charlottesville, VA at the Judge Advocate General’s Legal Center on the grounds of the University of Virginia.

John holds the rank of Commander in the U.S. Navy Reserve and is also Assistant United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia.
