McKenna Center Summer Service Immersion--Enjoy the Photos!

From July 6-9, eight rising sophomores and juniors participated in the first of two McKenna Center Immersion experiences that will take place this summer. The young men arrived on campus early each day, spending the morning working at the McKenna Center. They served breakfast and lunch to guests, tidied up the clothing closet, and worked in the pantry. Throughout the week, they had the chance to speak with McKenna Center staff, including Dr. Kimberly Cox, Mr. Cortez McDaniels, and Mr. Neg Hogan, who took time to teach about Fr. Horace McKenna as well as the philosophy and mission of the Center. In the afternoons, the group tutored kids who were participating in a summer camp at the Golden Rule apartments near Gonzaga's campus.

We hope you enjoy these great photos of the week!
