Class of 2021 Commencement--Enjoy the Video!

The Class of 2021 celebrated its graduation on Sunday, June 6 in St. Aloysius Church. The church was filled with the graduates, their parents and other family members, Gonzaga’s faculty and staff, and members of the Jubilarian Class of 1971. In addition, the ceremony was livestreamed into the Sheehy Theater and the Carmody Center, where more family members were able to take part in the festivities. His eminence Wilton Cardinal Gregory was the commencement speaker, and the day also included Fr. Planning awarding an Honorary Doctorate to John Gabriel Smith '54, the first African American graduate of Gonzaga.

We hope you enjoy this video recap of the ceremony, which includes excerpts from Cardinal Gregory's speech and Father Planning’s remarks as well as excerpts from the two student speakers, Salutatorian Grant P. Weeter '21 and Valedictorian Alexander D. Gerlach '21. Click here to watch a video of the Cardinal's full remarks, and here to watch a video of the full graduation ceremony.

Congratulations to Gonzaga’s newest alumni: the Class of 2021!
