GDA Meets With Members of Original Broadway Production of the Spongebob Musical
Members of the GDA production of The Spongebob Musical recently had the opportunity to speak to members of the original Broadway production during their Zoom rehearsals.
Kyle Jarrow, the Tony-nominated writer of the show, and Nick Blaemire, who played Plankton in the original production and who is a Sidwell Friends alumnus, talked to the actors about the Broadway production, working in theater and television, and about following their dreams wherever they may lead. It is through Mr. Jarrow's assistance that the GDA will become one of the first high schools in the country to perform this show.
