Congratulations to the 2021 Gonzaga Poetry Prize Winners!

This week, the winners of the 2021 Gonzaga Poetry Prize were named. Twenty-nine poems were submitted and the judges chose to honor the four poets below. 

The winners are:
1st Place - Adam Uppuluri '21 for his poem "Woods on Fire"
2nd Place - Kevin Donalson '21 for his poem "A Letter to White America
3rd Place - Adam Uppuluri '21 for his poem "When My Obachan Cooks"
4th Place - James Gnecco '21 for his poem "Cliffs of Potomac"

These poems will be framed and posted in the second floor hallway of Kohlmann Hall and they will appear in the 2021 Phoenix.
