GFC Freshman Father-Son Service Project--Enjoy the Photos!

On December 22, Gonzaga continued its long-term partnership with the Capital Area Food Bank by holding the annual Freshmen Father Son Service Project. One of the great annual traditions at Gonzaga, this event is the first group volunteer opportunity for freshmen and their dads.

During the morning of service, roughly 50 Gonzaga freshmen and fathers worked to organize boxes of food for residents of the greater Washington, D.C., area. According to the food bank, Gonzaga has a strong reputation for “moving the food” and the December event was no exception, despite operating under CDC Covid 19 protocols.

Thank you to the GFC for organizing this event, and to all who participated. We hope you enjoy these photos.
