News of Alumni: Walter Hill '16

An original poem by Walter Hill '16 called "I've Been to Georgia" was recently published in APIARY Magazine, a free literary magazine based in Philadelphia

"I find this poem, a quiet elegy for Ahmaud Arbery, moving and powerful," says Joseph Ross, Gonzaga English Teacher and Moderator of the Gonzaga Poets & Writers Club.

Walter graduated from Champlain College this year and currently resides in Austin, Texas where he works as a software developer while also making time to continue writing poetry.

You can read "I've Been to Georgia" by clicking here, or by paging though APIARY online here
