Virtual Indigenous Peoples Day Prayer Service

On Tuesday, October 13th, Gonzaga held a prayer service commemorating Indigenous Peoples Day. Led by students and leaders from the Native American Culture Club and Campus Ministry, the service lifted indigenous voices and issues to our Gonzaga community. Students and staff shared their reflections and concerns in small group discussions, and the community gained a better understanding of not only the history of Indigenous people in Washington D.C., but throughout our country.

Says Assistant Director of Campus Ministry Mr. Michael Libuano-Macalintal: "This work is reflective of students' own interests and desires to build a more loving, embracing, and just community."

Thank you to everyone who participated!
