Class of 2024 Enjoys Their First G Day on Campus

On Wednesday, September 16, about half of the freshman class was on campus for their first G Day of the school year.

Throughout the day, the freshmen had the chance to meet with their advisory groups, play some outdoor games on Buchanan Field, and participate in a service opportunity to learn about the Campus Kitchen Project. At the end of the day, each freshman walked away with their ID card, kastle card, PE uniform, a T-shirt to commemorate the day, and, hopefully, a few new friendships.

"Wednesday's G Day was another example of Gonzaga drawing on its biggest strength: our students,” said Mac Kimmitt, Counselor of the Class of 2024. “The Legendary Class of 2024 exemplified our school spirit, community, and perseverance by making the most out of a difficult time. Way to go guys!"

The second half of the class will be on Eye Street next Friday, and we are also looking forward to welcoming all of our new families with our virtual New Families Mass and Welcome this Sunday, September 20 at 10 AM (tune into Gonzaga's Facebook page to watch).

Here are some great photos of the Class of 2024 from Wednesday:
