Gonzaga Onyx Club Takes Field Trip To See "Just Mercy," Visits famous Ben's Chili Bowl

On February 4, as part of Gonzaga's Black History Month programming, Gonzaga's Onyx Club took a field trip to see Just Mercy, the new movie that's based on the book by activist and lawyer Bryan Stevenson, and have lunch at the famous U Street restaurant Ben's Chili Bowl.

In February 2017, after the whole school read Just Mercy, Stevenson came to Gonzaga to talk about America's broken criminal justice system, and the work he does defending the poor and wrongly convicted. To read more about that visit, click here
