Gonzaga Ethics Bowl Team Competes at American University

Congratulations to the Gonzaga Ethics Bowl Team, which competed in the high school regional ethics bowl competition on Saturday, February 1st at American University. Ethics Bowl is a national competition among high school students in which they learn to engage in thoughtful dialogue about complex, contemporary ethical questions. Gonzaga’s team received the Robert Ladenson Spirit of The Ethics Bowl Award for respectful dialogue and collegiality.

"I’m very proud of the way they carried themselves in their first competition," said coach and Religion Teacher Ms. Shannon Berry, "and their willingness to wrestle with difficult questions and engage thoughtfully with teams from other high schools in the DMV."
