Eagles' Wings Day of Service at the Greater DC Diaper Bank

On Sunday, January 19, Gonzaga's Eagles' Wings -- a group of parents of alumni -- performed a day of service at the Greater DC Diaper Bank in Silver Spring.

More than a dozen volunteers spent the day bundling and inventorying diapers at the non-profit, which was founded in 2010 by Corrine Cannon, daughter of longtime Gonzaga English teacher Rick Cannon. Earlier this year, Corrine was named a Washingtonian of the Year by Washingtonian Magazine for her work to support some of the Washington area's most vulnerable families.

Students, parents, and staff: Please mark your calendars for next Friday, January 31, when Gonzaga's annual Men for Others Diaper Drive begins!
