Basketball Finishes 3rd at Palm City Classic, Ready for WCAC Play

The Varsity Basketball Eagles had a strong showing at the City of Palms Classic, universally regarded as the No. 1 high school holiday basketball tournament in the country, in Ft. Myers, FL from December 18-23. The Eagles defeated O’Dea (WA) 74-66, lost to IMG Academy (FL) 76-67, and defeated McEachern (GA) 71-66 to take third place overall. The third place victory was also Coach Turner's 380th of his career!

Additionally, Senior Captain Terrance Williams earned All-Tournament Team honors and he recently announced his committment to the University of Michigan. Here are his highlights from the Palm City Classic:



This week, the Eagles are back in action with three games against top WCAC opponents. Today, Friday, January 3 the team travels to Arlington, VA to take on Bishop O'Connell at  7 PM. On Tuesday, January 7 the team faces DeMatha in the Carmody Center at 7:30 PM. And on Thursday, January 9 the team will battle Paul VI in Fairfax, VA at 7:30 PM.
