Soccer Finishes Season on Top with DCSAA Title

The Varsity Soccer Eagles completed an incredible season on Sunday, November 10 as they won the DCSAA Championship against Sidwell Friends, 3-0. Senior Ryan Elie kicked off the scoring with an unassisted goal that bent over the reach of the Sidwell keeper.

In the second half, the Eagles weathered the Quakers' storm and Junior Jack Ries was able to kick a through ball to Junior Gianluca Sacco who finessed it into the goal. Minutes later, Senior Max Ludwikowski crossed the ball to a rushing Ryan Elie who headed it in, putting the game completely out of reach.

Ryan Elie was named Most Valuable Player of the tournament and the Eagles finished their 2019 campaign with a record of 14-6-6. Congratulations to Coach Waller, the coaching staff, and all of the players on another fantastic season.
