Gonzaga Book Club Donates 600 Books to Children

Members of the Gonzaga Book Club collected more than 600 books during their October book drive. They sorted, boxed, and delivered about 400 of these books to the Christ Child Society, DC Chapter which will distribute them to children throughout the Washington area.

The remaining 200 books will be donated to a school in Tanzania as part a drive organized by the French Honor Society. Says Assistant Librarian Mrs. Pam Valeiras
: "The Book Club is proud to support early childhood literacy, which is so important to student academic success."
