News of Alumni: William Orem '83

William Orem, MFA, PhD ’83 recently published his fifth book, Miss Lucy, a historical novel about the life of Bram Stoker, the Irish author of Dracula.

Miss Lucy won the Gival Press Novel Award, an award given by Gival Press, LLC, an independent literary publishing house in Arlington, Virginia, who publishes the work of authors from many walks of life who demonstrate quality and whose work has a message, be it philosophical or social. You can find Miss Lucy on Amazon here

William is currently a Senior Writer-In-Residence at Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts. He says, "I owe Rick Cannon a debt of thanks for this, as do so many of us.”
