Soccer Beats St. John's on Senior Night

In a game with important WCAC and DCSAA postseason seeding implications, Gonzaga Soccer's match versus St. John's on October 22 was a must-win; and the Eagles delivered. Mark Western would offer up a corner kick late in the first half on which Ryan Elie converted. In the second half Ryan Elie would again threaten the Johnnies defense but laid it off to a cutting Ian Granthon who slotted it in. The "Big Four" (Western, Finn McCaslin, Christian Maalouf, John Hodges) in the back and freshman goalkeeper Drew Hartman recorded yet another shutout, their 8th in a row.
