Back to School

We are excited to welcome back students and faculty for the 2019-2020 academic year on Eye Street! Here are some important dates, times, and information about the first week back.

Tuesday, August 20

Sophomore, Junior, and Senior Orientation

8:00-10:30am Sophomore Orientation
9:45-12:15am Junior Orientation
11:30-2:00pm Senior Orientation

Students will report directly to the Sheehy Theater for the orientation assembly. The assembly is followed by homeroom. Normal school dress code is in effect, per the Student Handbook.

Each student must bring to orientation the Educational Device he intends to use for the school year.

New Families Welcome Picnic

All freshmen and new students and their parents/guardians are invited to a welcome picnic to kick off their time at Gonzaga. Please join us promptly at 6:45pm in the Sheehy Theater for a welcome address. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet classmates and fellow parents and fill your closet with the latest Gonzaga gear (as the bookstore is open for your convenience!). Freshman Orientation and Olympiad

Students will report directly to the St. Aloysius Church in time to find their homeroom teacher and begin orientation by 8:15am. The initial assembly is followed by various meetings around campus including educational technology activities.

Dress Code: students must wear a collared shirt; khaki or casual shorts are acceptable; closed-toed school shoes or sneakers. In addition, each student must bring to orientation the Educational Device he intends to use for the school year. Lunch will be provided.
