Baseball Rolls Past The Heights on Senior Night

The varsity baseball Eagles celebrated Senior Night with a 12-2 win over the Heights on Monday, April 29 at the Nationals Youth Academy. Although the visiting team scored first, Gonzaga scored two runs in the bottom of the first inning to take a 2-1 lead. A big fourth inning for Gonzaga was highlighted by senior Anthony Seiler's double to the warning track and senior Will Dolson's line drive RBI to center field to give the team a 5-2 lead. Dolson continued his big day at the plate in the sixth inning, hitting a double off of the left field wall to clear the bases and score three more for the Eagles. Senior Shane Tomb had a monster game, going 3-3 with two triples, a sacrfice fly-out, and a game-ending two RBI single.
