12th Annual Kristensen Klassic

The 12th Annual Eric S. Kristensen Eye Street Klassic took place on Friday, May 3 at Joint Base Andrews. The golf tournament celebrates the life of United States Navy SEAL Erik Kristensen ’90, and raises funds for a scholarship that bears his name and benefits deserving young men from military families.

“It was a really nice day,” says Andrew Battaile, Gonzaga’s Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid and also an organizer of the annual tournament. “Fr. Planning gave a nice blessing, and the rain stayed away thanks to his prayers. We had about 100 golfers, and while the final numbers aren't in, we know we'll make a significant contribution to Erik's fund. Most importantly, we all gathered to honor Erik and to support the Kristensens.”
