Father-Son Communion Breakfast—Enjoy the Photos!

The Gonzaga Fathers Club’s 70th Annual Father-Son Communion Breakfast took place on Sunday, April 28. The day began with Mass in St. Aloysius Church followed by brunch at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, where retired judge and Vietnam Veteran Judge John “Jack” Farley III gave the keynote address. Click the play button to watch the video that was used to introduce Judge Farley and give some background about his time in the military, career, and service to veterans.

John C. Simpson, Jr. ’61 was recognized as the Alumni Man of the Year. A former Gonzaga Board member and current Gonzaga grandfather, John has been a dedicated and devoted alumnus to Gonzaga for more than 50 years. The Father Novotny Service Award was given to John A. Mazariegos ’74, who has spent the past 25 years working as a missionary in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. John is currently raising money to build a permanent home for his missionary work in rural Mexico—a cause many of his former Gonzaga classmates have rallied behind and supported.

We hope you enjoy these wonderful photos from the morning.
