Cross Country Wins Third Straight DCSAA Championship

Cross Country took home its third consecutive DCSAA Championship on Saturday, November 2! The race took place at Kenilworth Park in Northeast DC, a course the team had practiced and raced on several times already this season. “We have a strong group that bought into the program and ran well since the summer and even before that,” Head Coach John Ausema sad to the Washington Post.

Juniors Cullen Capuano and Gavin McElhennon placed second and third, respectively, with four others placing in the top 22. Click here for complete results. 

The team has two meets left on the 2018 schedule, both out of town. Next up is the Jesuit Championships in Bronx, NY on November 17.
