Gonzaga Community Collects More than 12,000 Cans for the McKenna Center!

Every year, Gonzaga’s National Honor Society organizes a week-long Canned Food Drive to benefit the McKenna Center. The drive takes the form of a competition between homerooms, with each homeroom vying to see which one can earn the most points per student.

This year’s drive ran from October 29 to November 2, and brought in an impressive 12,621 cans! Around 75% of the entire student body participated, with Mr. Cowan’s homeroom taking first place, Mr. Pugliese’s homeroom second, and Mrs. Albrittain’s homeroom third.

We hope you enjoy these great photos from the week. And thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s drive a big success!
