News of Alumni: Thomas Gaunt, S.J. '71

Gonzaga Board member and alumnus Thomas Gaunt, S.J. '71 edited a recent book entitled Pathways to Religious Life (Oxford University Press). Using data from several studies of religious life in the U.S. conducted by the Center for Applied Research in the Apostolate (CARA) over the past ten years, the book examines the many challenges and changes for religious orders of men and women in the U.S. and addresses questions like: What is the state of religious life in the United States today? What influences a young man or woman to consider religious life today? And how are religious from other countries shaping religious life here as they come to the U.S. to minister?

A member of the Georgetown University Jesuit Community, Father Gaunt is the Executive Director of the Center for Applied Research in the Apostolate. Congratulations, Father Gaunt!
