Football Downs Don Bosco, Ready for Gridiron Classic

On September 8, Don Bosco, a traditional football power from New Jersey, traveled to play the undefeated varsity football Eagles on Buchanan Field. As a steady light rain fell throughout the afternoon, so did the points for Gonzaga. Coach Trivers' team lead 30-0 heading into the fourth quarter and would go on to win 37-7 to improve to 3-0 on the season.  Enjoy this short video:

Seniors Harrison Sousa and Aaron Davis led another great performance by the Eagle defense, while John Marshall '19 led the way on the offensive side of the ball with six catches and a touchdown.  Touchdowns were also scored by Loic Sangwa '19, Sam Sweeney '19, Aaron Turner '20, and Lucas Warfield '19.  Brian Collins '19 blocked a punt for a safety, highlighting a strong special teams performance for Gonzaga.  Click here to read a game recap from the Northwest Current.
