US/Mexico Border Service Trip—Enjoy the Photos!

In early June, ten students traveled to Nogales, Arizona and Nogales, Mexico to learn about the realities of the border and immigration today. The group worked with the Kino Border Initiative, a Jesuit organization that runs programs for migrants including soup kitchens, classes, advocacy projects, and more. The students regularly crossed the border into Mexico to work at the KBI soup kitchen, where they had the opportunity to meet and talk with many of the visitors there. Students also spent time with KBI Education Director Fr. Peter Neeley, SJ, who talked with them about immigration through the lens of Catholic tradition.

We hope you enjoy these great photos from the trip!
