News of Alumni: Mike Crozier '12

Mike Crozier '12 completed a 6 year journey at Georgetown where he persevered through two major injuries during his career.  On June 6, he competed in the NCAA Nationals at the historic Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon.  Mike finished finished in 14th place out of 24 runners in the 10K Meter Final.

RunWashington.com wrote an article titled “Crozier finds closure in NCAA 10k after years of injury” — here is quote from the article: “He [Mike’s Coach] told me to live every day like the elite athlete I wanted to be,” Crozier said. “Live like you’re going to race NCAAs next week even if you won’t qualify for Big East. And that was important to me – I wanted to perform on the track, not just be ‘good locker room guy’ because I stuck with it through all the injuries.”
