Gonzaga Celebrates 197th Commencement—Enjoy the Video!

The Class of 2018 celebrated its graduation on Sunday, June 3 in St. Aloysius Church. The church was filled with the 230 graduates, their parents and other family members, Gonzaga’s faculty and staff, and members of the Jubilarian Class of 1968. A member of that class, Dr. Joseph McCarthy '68, the former Senior Associate Dean and Director of Degree Programs at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, was the commencement speaker.

We hope you enjoy this video recap of the ceremony, which includes excerpts from Dr. McCarthy’s speech and Father Planning’s remarks as well as excerpts from the two student speakers, Salutatorian Trevor J. Louis ‘18 and Valedictorian Andrew J. Beckham ‘18. Click here to watch a video of Dr. McCarthy’s full remarks, and here to watch a video of the full graduation ceremony.

Congratulations to Gonzaga’s newest alumni, the Class of 2018!
