Crew Earns Nationals Bids, Will Race in Stotesbury

Congrats to four Gonzaga Crew boats that qualified for the Youth Nationals in June! The Second 8 and the Lightweight 8 won their races at the Mid-Atlantic Championships in Princeton, NJ on May 13. The First 8 and the Lightweight 4 came in second in their races.  Click here for complete results.

The program will compete in the historic Stotesbury Regatta which is typically held in Philadelphia, PA. Due to the recent heavy rain in the region, for the first time in the 160 years of the event, racing will be moved from the Schuylkill River to South New Jersey's Cooper River this weekend. Click here to read more about this unprecedented move.

If you'd like to follow the team this weekend, here is the Stotesbury website, and here is their twitter feed.

Here is a nice photo of some of our rowers posted by our fellow Jesuit school, St. Joe's Prep in Philadelphia:
Best of luck to all the Eagles competing this weekend.
