Golf Completes Season at Metros
Varsity Golf finished in second place at the Metros Championship, 6 strokes behind Georgetown Prep at the PB Dye Golf Course on May 15. The final team scores were Prep 377 and Gonzaga 383. Seniors Brad Whitaker and Mike McCarthy had the two low rounds of the tournment with 72 and 73 respectively. Both will play college golf in the fall, Whitaker will attend Siena College and McCarthy will attend Loyola University (MD).
The players look forward to a competitve summer in amateur events in both Maryland and Virginia.
