National Honor Society Welcomes New Members

On Monday, March 12, Gonzaga’s chapter of the National Honor Society held a ceremony to induct 89 new members.

All of the inductees have maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.800 or higher and have also exhibited excellence in scholarship, leadership, character, and service during their tenure at Gonzaga.

The ceremony was led by the five seniors who have served as elected officers throughout the 2017-2018 school year:  Matthew Gannon ’18, Michael Chehade ’18, Matt Edwards ’18, Andrew Metro ’18, and Ryan Teuschl ’18. Ryan also had the opportunity to introduce his father, United States Navy Captain Thomas Teuschl, as the keynote speaker.

After the speech, the newly elected officers for the 2018-2019 school year were introduced. Congratulations to Daniel Podratsky '19, JR Bingel '19, Jack Pfefferkorn '19, Joe Boland '19, and Keegan Grealish '19.

The National Honor Society is the nation’s premier organization established to recognize exceptional high school students. All members of the Gonzaga chapter are expected to maintain their academic standing and serve as mentors to underclassmen.

Congratulations to this year’s inductees. We hope you enjoy these wonderful photos from the ceremony.
