Johnson Bademosi '08, New England Patriots, Ready For Super Bowl LII

Best of luck to Johnson Bademosi '08 in Sunday's Super Bowl! Johnson is a defensive back and special teams standout for the New England Patriots.

A graduate of Stanford and a member of the National Football League since 2012, Johnson played for the Cleveland Browns from 2012-2015 and the Detroit Lions in 2016. He was traded to the Patriots in the preseason of 2017 and recently talked about what it's like to play for New England: "It’s certainly not easy to play here... Winning football games is not easy...and we win a lot of football games.”  He and his teammates will look to win the biggest game of the year on Sunday, February 4: Super Bowl LII in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Johnson was elevated to a starting defensive role mid-way through the regular season, where he recorded 13 tackles in a three-game span in October.  The Patriots defeated the New York Jets, Atlanta Falcons, and Los Angeles Chargers in those games. On Thursday, February 1, Johnson and other members of the Patriots were featured on the NFL's instagram account for some recent social justice work they participated in at Harvard University:

Look for Johnson, #29 for the Patriots, to make an impact on special teams and possibly on defense on Sunday.
