News of Alumni: Labi Koi-Larbi ‘17

The United States Rugby Foundation announced that Labi Koi-Larbi ’17 is a recipient of its Kevin Higgins College Scholarship.

“LJ is the very definition of an upstanding citizen,” said Demetrius R. Daniel, Capital Partners for Education, Program Manager. “In my work with him, I have always known him to be charming, thoughtful, and kind; encouraging of others; persistent and driven. He very intentionally serves his communities while maintaining focus on his personal goals, which are many and far reaching.”

A four-year member of Gonzaga’s varsity rugby team, LJ played on the teams that won back-to-back high school national championship titles in 2015 and 2016.
