Basketball’s Myles Dread ’18 Featured in Washington Post

Senior guard Myles Dread ’18 has helped lead the varsity basketball Eagles to a 10-0 start and No. 2 ranking by the Washington Post.

The Post recently wrote an article noting the early injuries the team suffered and how Dread has emerged as the leader for the defending WCAC Champions. “Pretty much every step of the way, he has answered the call,” head coach Steve Turner said. Click

Over the Christmas break, the Eagles played two games at the annual Slam Dunk to the Beach in Lewes, DE, winning both in decisive fashion. The team beat Harvard Westlake (CA) 62-42 and Bishop Loughlin (NY) 58-44.  Next up is another national matchup vs Mater Dei (CA) at Wheeling Jesuit University on Saturday, January 6.
