Marc Mandel Named Head Men’s Crew Coach at Williams College

Gonzaga offers congratulations and bids farewell to Head Crew Coach Marc Mandel who has been named the new head coach of the Williams College men’s crew program. Coach Mandel departs Eye Street after nine years at the helm of the school’s championship program, during which he guided the Eagles to multiple local and regional titles and Gonzaga’s first-ever national championship in scholastic rowing.

"Marc has accomplished an extraordinary amount with the Gonzaga Crew Team in a short amount of time," says Athletic Director Joe Reyda. "The program not only won multiple championships but it represented Gonzaga so well in and out of the boat. This success and professionalism reflects the leadership and dedication of Coach Mandel."

Headmaster Tom Every adds: "Marc is the consummate man for others, a true teacher in every sense of the word. We wish him all the best at Williams College!"
