On the evening of February 24th, Gonzaga will partner with Georgetown Visitation Preparatory School to present an event called the "Eye Street College Admissions Case Study Program" for juniors and their parents.
Have you ever wondered what a college admissions committee is like? What variables are discussed when reading a college application? Here is your chance to find out! Upon your arrival, you will be assigned to a room with a college admissions representative, who will preside over a mock admissions committee. The committee will be presented with four college applications and tasked with making admissions decisions based on the parameters that are put forth. The purpose of this exercise is to provide insight into the subjective nature of college admissions.
Immediately following the Case Study, we will hold a College Fair in the Carmody Center. Representatives from 40 colleges and universities across the country will be on hand to tell you more about their institutions and answer questions. We have an eclectic representation of both public and private institutions that range in sizes and offerings.
