The Gonzaga Mothers Club treats the Gonzaga faculty and staff to a "welcome back" luncheon in the Lower Commons at the beginning of each school year. GMC volunteers decorate the Commons, serve a delicious lunch, and provide raffles and door prizes to the faculty and staff.

All sophomores and their parents/guardians are invited to a welcome picnic to kick off the school year. The event begins with a welcome in Sheehy Theater at 6:45pm, followed by dinner on Eye Street.
Attire is dressy casual. Since this is a special event just for sophomores and their parents, we kindly ask that your siblings remain at home.
No RSVP is needed
There is limited parking on campus in the parking garage. Street parking is available after 6:30pm. Please consider car pooling or taking Metro.
During orientation Sophomores and Juniors will have their yearbook picture taken by Stone Photography. If you would like to purchase prints you can order online at the Stone Photography website or print out and bring in an order form.

Students will report directly to the St. Aloysius Church in time to find their homeroom teacher and begin orientation by 8:15am. The initial assembly is followed by various meetings around campus including educational technology activities.
Dress Code: students must wear a collared shirt; khaki or casual SHORTS are acceptable; closed-toed school shoes or sneakers.
Each student must bring to orientation the Educational Device he intends to use for the school year.
During orientation Freshmen who have not yet had their yearbook picture taken, will be photographed by Stone Photography. If you would like to purchase prints you can order online at the Stone Photography website or print out and bring in an order form. Some members of the class of 2025 had their pictures taken in advance during the Summer Learning Program.

Due to expected attendance, we are requiring that all spectators wear facial coverings, regardless of vaccination status. Before the game, we will gather at the Salt Line (79 Potomac Ave., SE) starting at 5 PM, and then head over to the park for the first pitch at 7:05 PM.
