    High School Placement Test (HSPT)

    Ruesch Cantwell Classrooms
    The High School Placement Test (HSPT) is a test that most Catholic high schools in the Archdiocese of Washington consider when reviewing students’ applications to their schools.  

    The Saturday administration of the HSPT is for 8th grade students who are not currently enrolled in an Archdiocese of Washington, Diocese of Arlington, or Archdiocese of Baltimore Catholic school. Registration will open in October.  

    Gonzaga is only hosting the HSPT.  You must register directly with the Archdiocese of Washington to take the test. Click here for complete details.
  • Gonzaga Gala 40th Anniversary, “A Ruby Celebration”

    There are only a few hours left to buy your virtual gala and online bidding tickets for this year's Gonzaga Mothers Club Gala -- The Ruby Celebration! 

    The event, which will be 
    livestreamed from Eye Street on Gonzaga’s website, takes place tomorrow at 6 PM and ticket sales close this afternoon at 3 PM. Online bidding has already started!     Do you have questions about navigating the Gonzaga landscape as a proud new parent, but haven't figured out who to ask yet?  Since we can't host you on campus, we're bringing campus to you.

  • Fall Play - Words from Eye Street: Two Centuries of Moments to Challenge and Inspire

    In conjunction with Gonzaga's 200th anniversary, this fall the Gonzaga Dramatic Association will be performing Words from Eye Street: Two Centuries of Moments to Challenge and Inspire.

    The show will be a collection of some of the greatest speeches and monologues in American culture from the past 200 years, as performed in the Sheehy Theater and around the DC area.  The show will premiere on Gonzaga's Facebook page on Friday, December 11 at 7:30pm.   • “Lessons & Carols” presented by The Father McKenna Center

    Please “tune in” on Facebook Live, Monday, December 21st at 7 pm for “Lessons & Carols” presented by The Father McKenna Center. 

    Seven members of the Gonzaga family will be featured this year:  Father Stephen Planning, S.J, President of Gonzaga, proclaimed the first lesson, a reading from Isaiah;  Ms. Katie Murphy, Religion Instructor at Gonzaga, read the seventh lesson from the First Christmas Homily of Pope Francis;  Mr. Andrew Wood ’12, Music Instructor at Gonzaga, played trumpet for the Call to Worship; Mr. Peter Mildrew ’22 sang “Silent Night”; Mr. Seamus DeVol ’21 provided the photography for the program cover; and Mr. Andy Carluccio ’16 and Mr. Jonathan Kokotajlo ’16 led the video team.
     
    In addition, Father Gap LoBiondo, S.J., Chaplin to the McKenna Center, offered the Bidding Prayer and Father Harry Geib, S.J., Superior, Gonzaga Jesuit Community, offered the Concluding Remarks.

    Every year, the Gonzaga Fathers Club organizes an opportunity for freshmen and their fathers to perform a service project together around Christmas. This year, we will be spending the morning together at the Capital Area Food Bank.
