    Men for Others Diaper Drive begins

    Please encourage your son to participate in this annual whole-school service opportunity! Sizes 4, 5 & 6 are particularly needed. All diapers collected will be donated to the Greater D.C. Diaper Bank which provides a monthly average of 175,000 diapers to over 4,000 D.C. area families. The Founder and Executive Director, Corrine Cannon, is the daughter of Gonzaga's own Rick Cannon and created the Diaper Bank in 2010. This year our goal is 16,000. If every family brings in one pack, we will meet this ambitious goal! Diapers can be dropped off in the Upper Commons and in the rotunda of Ruesch. Please help us with this worthy effort!

    Children's National Medical Center Bloodmobile Van will be on site for eligible junior, seniors and faculty.  

    Please remember, ALL donors:
    1. Should eat breakfast/lunch prior to blood donation and present photo ID (driver’s license, passport, college/school ID with a picture) at time of donation.
    2. Should drink at least 16 ounces of water prior to coming to donate.
    3. Must be free of cold and cold-like symptoms for at the least (3) days prior to donation.

    *Students must be 17 years old with parental permission.

    ACT at Gonzaga

    Ruesch Cantwell Classrooms
    Students who have signed up to take the ACT at Gonzaga should bring their picture ID and admittance tickets.  They cannot take the test without these items. 

    Students should also bring the following (none of these will be provided by the school):
    -calculator
    -number two pencils
    -water and snacks for during breaks

    Students will be admitted beginning at 7:45AM and will not be admitted after 8:10AM.

    Players must first contact Coach Baggetta and let him know that he intends to play rugby. Coach Baggetta will then send your son an email through Canvas to get your son’s contact information and gear sizes. After contacting Coach Baggetta players must register in person.  In case of an unavoidable conflict that day, please email the registration coordinator.

    Gonzaga senior student-athletes will sign letters of intent on National Signing Day during a ceremony in the Carmody Center. Under the leadership of Athletic Director Joe Reyda ’85, this annual event is held to recognize all of the student-athletes who will play their sport in college at any level.  It is a proud day for these young men and their families and a great day for them to share their appreciation for their parents, coaches, teachers, and teammates.

    GFC Father/Son Service Project

    Catholic Charities Ancho Mental Health Facilitiy, 1001 Lawrence Ave, NE, Washington DC
    For the 15th year in a row, the Gonzaga Father’s Club is offering a unique volunteer opportunity for fathers and sons to work in the spirit and tradition of our Gonzaga community!  Their objective is to assist a local service agency that doesn’t normally benefit from volunteer organizations by providing facility maintenance and refurbishment. This year they will be assisting the Catholic Charities’ Anchor Mental Health Facility by painting interior spaces.

    WCAC Basketball Semifinal Game

    On Saturday, February 24, Gonzaga Varsity Basketball defeated St. John's 60-49 in the Quarterfinals of WCAC Playoffs. They will play Paul VI on Sunday at 4:30pm at American University.

    Admission is $10.

    WCAC Championship Varsity Basketball Game

    American University's Bender Arena
    Gonzaga Varsity Basketball beat Paul VI 68 to 58 in the WCAC semifinal game on Sunday. Gonzaga will play DeMatha at 8pm at American University's Bender Arena for the Championship title.  

    Ticket cost is $10 at the door.  To purchase tickets on line click here - type in WCAC Basketball Championship. This will guarantee you admission into the game. Online tickets are $10 each but there is a $.50 service fee for each ticket.

    Arrive early. Wear purple. Bring the ruckus!
