Back-to-school night in the Fall offers new and returning parents alike the opportunity to meet their sons' teachers and to experience firsthand the environment and objectives of the classroom. Parents begin the evening at 6:45pm in St. Al's and then proceed to on campus following their sons' class schedule.
Gonzaga's Varsity football team will be playing Peddie High School at Franklin Field at UPenn in Philadelphia at 8:00pm. There will be a pre-game reception before hand for alumni and the Touchdown Club at the the New Deck Tavern from 5:30-7:30.
Tickets ($20 each) include appetizers and soft drinks at the reception (cash bar) and a ticket to the game. The Tavern is a few blocks from the UPenn and there is parking at Franklin Field. Click here to buy a ticket for this event.
Alumni Association meetings give Gonzaga alumni the chance to hear up-to-the-minute information about what's going on at Gonzaga, from club activities to sporting events, and all Alumni Association events. We begin with fellowship and dinner at 6:00 pm and at 6:30 pm the meeting is called to order. Meetings typically last an hour and a half depending upon attendance and agenda items to be discussed. The meetings are open to all alumni of Gonzaga.
Gonzaga clubs and teams hold bake sales in order to raise money for their groups. Bake sale are usually up and running by 7:30 am and continue until the end of 6th period lunch. If you are contributing to a bake sale you do not need to send in homemade items, you can purchase your baked goods at any store.
McKenna's Wagon is a mobile soup kitchen that departs daily from Martha's Table, near U Street, and serves the homeless. A Gonzaga group goes out every Wednesday evening as part of this program. Each week, we take 3 sophomores. Sign up forms are located in the Campus Ministry Office.
This will be the first Gonzaga Mothers Club General Membership meeting of the school year. Father Planning will share news and happenings at Gonzaga as your son begins the new school year.
The Gonzaga Mothers Club is open to mothers and guardians of Gonzaga students, and those friends and benefactors of the school who wish to participate in or contribute to the Mothers Club activities.
The GMC usually meets on the second Wednesday of the month in the Lower Commons. All are welcome! The social begins at 6:30 pm, and the meeting begins at 7:00 pm.

Those making the retreat will have an opportunity to deepen their friendships with classmates and to reflect on how they can make the most of their sophomore year. The retreat runs from 6 PM the first evening, after meeting in the school chapel, until 2:45 the next day.

The Ignatian Reflection and Prayer Group consists of Gonzaga moms and female guardians who gather monthly to explore the Ignatian spirituality at the heart of their sons’ education, and reflect on how to put it into practice in their own lives.
They seek to deepen their faith by reading and discussing relevant essays and books, participating in Masses and retreats, and participating in guided reflections combined with a variety of Ignatian forms of prayer.

Come join other Eagles' Wings parents (parents of alumni) in the Dooley Hall Library as they tailgate and watch the annual Gridiron Classic, supporting the Washington Jesuit Academy, on Buchanan Field! You'll have a great "Eagles" view of the game from the library windows!

The Jesuit Gridiron Classic is the annual football game between Gonzaga and Georgetown Prep. The winner of the game earns bragging rights and ownership of the Kozik Cup for the year. All proceeds from the event benefit the Washington Jesuit Academy.

College counseling prgram offering discussion and detailed information about the college application stages and the fall application process. This program is for senior parents only.
Hosted in memory of Geordan Harris ’03, this event for young alumni takes place every fall at Old Angler’s Inn in Potomac. It includes great food and drink, entertainment, and a silent auction. All proceeds support the Geordan Harris Scholarship Fund at Gonzaga College High School.
