Four Gonzaga Students Attend Arrupe Leaders Summit

Last week, Jack Doolin ‘21, Chase Gurey ‘20, Luke Elliott ‘21, and Andrew Kolebuck ’21 travelled to the O'Dwyer Retreat House in Sparks, Maryland to participate in the Ignatian Solidarity Network’s annual Arrupe Leaders Summit.

At the Summit, emerging student leaders from Jesuit high schools and parishes nationwide spend three days deepening their understanding of “a faith that does justice.” Inspired by Fr. Pedro Arrupe's commitment to solidarity with all of humanity, the event teaches leadership best practices and helps students make connections to their own lives through hands-on activities and personal reflection time. Students and faculty also share social justice programming ideas and have the opportunity to meet social justice leaders from around the country.

Gonzaga faculty members Katie Garbart and Shannon Berry accompanied the students. We hope you enjoy these nice photos from the summit.
